This special one hour long episode serves as an end note to the History of the Crusades podcast as it contains the last crusade in which the object was the recovery of Jerusalem. In fact, the episode contains TWO crusades. And a couple of murders. And the sacking of an ancient city by the Crusaders. And a bunch of Latin-Christians behaving badly. Oh, and pretty much the entire history of the island of Cyprus.

I'm selling this episode as a fund raiser. I really want to get back to posting free podcasts for you all, but to do so - I first need to cover my costs from my podcasting ventures so far. By selling this episode I hope to do that. I will then start work on a new set of episodes under the History of the Crusades banner - the Crusade against the Cathars in Southern France in the 13th century. Following that, I might start a whole new series detailing the interaction between the West and the Middle East in the first part of the 20th century. Woohoo!

If you would to help me reach my goal and get back to podcasting - it would be great if you would consider purchasing this episode. It's available for $5 US although you are welcome to pay more if you would like to do so. Thank you very much and I hope to see you all once more in the wonderful world of history podcasts.
